Susie, director, designer, manager, and developer of Bodimage Health and Skin Care (Inspiratek Enterprises Inc.) has been researching and developing natural skin care for over 8 years for the purpose of offering to people of all ages natural creams, lotions and bath products for everyday use. She brings to her research a focus in chemistry from the University of Victoria, a teaching certificate from Simon Fraser University, and a long interest in natural oils and their applications to reduce skin irritations. She is the daughter of a Veterinarian and comes by her interests naturally. Susie is also a mom of two young children. She is able to bring much to the area of natural cosmetics, fusing her knowledge in family care, chemistry and natural skin care research. She offers effective and natural skin care products that she can say in all honesty, really are working well for Bodimage customers and her family.

We talk with hundreds of people at shows and sales, on the internet and just walking around town. We are asked questions about our products. We hear many, many heart-breaking stories of life-long battles with skin irritations, of people having never found any products that work for them....And we hear many success stories from people who have used Bodimage products.

Bodimage creams are nourishing, natural and effective in helping to significantly ease itch, redness, dryness, and cracking.

The following is a list of many of the ingredients found in Bodimage creams along with a summary of many of their benefits. Not all Bodimage creams contain all of the list of ingredients. Each E/P Cream is specifically formulated to provide optimum benefit for specific skin needs.

When you read the label on your Bodimage cream each ingredient is listed in latin (part of the Canadian Label regulations).

The ingredients with some English can be seen on the ingredients page . You can use the list below to see the specific nourishing properties of these sources that combine to make a balanced, well designed, wonderful cream base for the E/P Creams.

Sesame oil - rich in vitamins E and B, and in minerals such as calcium, magnesium and phosphorus. Emollient and anti-inflammatory properties.

Aloe Vera - well respected for its healing properties. Aloe Vera contains vitamin B complex, folic acid, vitamin C and carotene (a precursor of vitamin A).

Hempseed Oil -   high in proteins and omega fatty acids , including linoleic acid, which helps stimulate cell growth.

Lanolin -   an excellent emollient. Has chemical and physical similarities to human skin lipids, promotes water retention in the skin. Additionally, lanolin has increased adherence to dry skin enabling it to form a protective barrier and promote hydration.

Rosehip Oil - contains a high amount of vitamin E, vitamin A and essential fatty acids which promote cell regeneration and healthy skin.

Beeswax - hydrates the skin without clogging pores. Forms a light barrier on the skin helping to seal in water, moisturizing oils and butters. It is an all-natural, non-refined (filtered only) product. Naturally nourishing moisturizer, an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiallergenic and a germicidal antioxidant.

Avocado Oil – contains high amounts of Vitamin A, B1, B2, D, and E. Also contains amino acids, sterols, pantothenic acid, lecithin, and other essential fatty acids.

Sea Buckthorn Oil - contains a high level of carotenoids, which has beta carotene as its main component, and provides natural UV protection for the skin. This variety of sea buckthorn is also rich in vitamin C and has antioxidant properties.

Borage Oil - well known as one of the richest sources of essential fatty acids known to man. It is a rich source of gamma linolenic acid (GLA), which encourage mobile joints and tissues. It is also a fantastic source for linolenic Acid, vitamins, and minerals.

Evening Primrose Oil - contains high levels of Gamma Linolenic Acid (Omega 6). Acts as an emollient and skin-conditioning agent high in essential fatty acids that can contribute to skin and scalp health. Evening Primrose Oil is also a rich source of gamma linoleic acid, omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. The oil has been shown to soothe inflammation.

Calamine - used a skin protectant and to soothe and cool the skin for itch relief. It contains the active ingredient zinc oxide, which has antiseptic properties and helps prevent infection from scratching. Contains zinc oxide with roughly 5% ferric oxide.

Silver Colloid - acts as a local antibiotic and also a powerful anti-inflammatory agent

White Willow Bark - contains natural salicylic acid which treats acne, pain, all kinds of inflammation, and is used as an antioxidant in natural formulations. Salicylic acid   in its natural form is non-irritating and non-drying.

Canadian Willowherb™ (Epilobium angustifolium - Fireweed) - has been used for anti-viral, anti-itch, and anti-hyperandrogenic applications and has also been shown to effectively kill the P. Acne bacterium associated with acne.

Helichrysum Hydrosol - said to help Rosacea, inflamed or irritated skin and eczema.

Helichrysum Essential Oil (EO) – is well respected for it's skin healing properties.

Lavender Hydrosol – shown to be emotionally and physically balancing. Has been used traditionally on for minor scrapes to a sleep aid. For people with sensitive or damaged skin.

Lavender EO - Herbalists regard Lavender as the most useful and versatile essential oil for therapeutic purposes.

Geranium EO - can be used to help in the treatment of the following: acne, bruises, burns, cuts, dermatitis, eczema, hemorrhoids, lice, mosquito repellant, ringworm, ulcers, breast engorgement, edema, poor circulation, sore throat, tonsillitis, PMS, menopausal problems, stress and neuralgia. It's reputation as an extremely versatile essential oil is well documented.

Patchouli EO - is excellent for general skin care, dermatitis, dandruff, athletes' foot, eczema, acne and sores. The specific properties include use as an antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, anti-emetic, antimicrobal, antiphlogistic, antiseptic, antitoxic, antiviral, aphrodisiac, astringent, bactericidal, carminative, deodorant, digestive, diuretic, febrifuge, fungicidal, nerving, prophylactic, stimulating and tonic agent.

Other ingredients include: Bergamot EO (Essential Oil), Cedarwood EO, Rose EO, Chamomile EO, and Soy Lecithin.
